Our students embraced the winter weather by continuing to play in the snow and collaborate to build The Biggest Snowman Ever, inspired by author Steven Kroll.
In a fun classroom activity, students helped a very plump goose outsmart a very hungry fox in Mo Willems' That Is Not A Good Idea!. Their laughter and engagement truly made the learning experience memorable.
Our fourth graders have just finished reading Charlie Joe Jackson's Guide to Not Reading by Tommy Greenwald. We have been engaging in thoughtful discussions around the book’s central themes of friendship, responsibility, and the importance of reading.
Our fifth graders have completed their second reading of All Summer in a Day by Ray Bradbury. They diligently took directed notes, enhancing their comprehension and critical thinking skills.
Lastly, as we honored the birthday of Martin Luther King Jr., our students have been reading and exploring Dr. King's powerful message of love, respect, and hope.
