Lower School Faculty Update:

Manny Carucci looks forward to using his passion for athletics and coaching experience as a PE teacher. Jenny Saunders has decided to take on a new experience and will move to 5th grade as the Science and Social Studies teacher. Jenny loves both Science and Social Studies and is excited to work explicitly with this content. Both Manny and Jenny have been incredible assets to their teams, and I am excited about what they will bring to their new positions. I will continue to interview well-qualifed candidates and will update you once final decisions are made.

We are looking forward to Mr. Bertha’s arrival next week!

Dear Parents, 

THANK YOU for sharing your children with me.  I am in the process of telling your wonderful children that I am retiring at the end of this year.  I have LOVED teaching your children and working at Hancock. I have so many memories from my 45 years in education, and the Hancock memories will always be with me.  I hope that I was successful in inspiring your kiddos to be lifelong readers and lovers of literature.  I always tried to create lessons that made books come alive.  And I always tried to make the library an enjoyable place to visit.  I know that my replacement will continue to educate your children in the Hancock Way!!  Love to you all!!
