November 6th - November 10th
Community is the virtue for the months of November and December. Our goal is to focus on not only nurturing and celebrating our strong school community but also finding ways that we, as a school and as individuals, can support the greater community by participating in service projects.
We will have a canned food drive for Second Harvest Food Bank from November 6 through November 16. Details are located on the Eagle’s Nest.
We will come together as a community on November 17 to celebrate our blessings and gratitude at our annual Thanksgiving Feasts.
There will be additional opportunities to recognize the importance of community in the weeks to come. Be on the lookout for more information.
November 9th is a half day! Dismissal for Green Gate is at 11:30, Gold Gate at 11:45 and White Gate at 12.
Parent Teacher Conferences are taking place on November 9 (afternoon) and November 10th. No school for students.
Congratulations to all of our Volleyball, Cross Country, and Tennis teams for a great Fall Season! Please make sure that you turn in your jerseys to your Coaches asap.
HDS Boys Basketball Tryouts finished up on 10/30.
HDS Girls Basketball Tryouts were held on 11/1-11/2.
Basketball players will be notified of their selection over the weekend. Practices begin on Monday. Coaches will notify their team players of the times and locations.
Baseball meeting took place on 11/1. They will be holding a few weekend practices throughout the winter months to keep athletes conditioned.
