November 14th - November 18th
Please be on the lookout for an important letter being passed out at conferences regarding an important change in carpool and a reminder about safety. If you are not able to attend a conference in person or have already had a conference, the letter will be sent home with your child.
I can’t stress enough the importance of following carpool protocols and drop off/pick up schedules. Please help us keep our students safe and in the best mindset possible to have a great, productive day at school.

Library News
Please encourage your child to return books every week. I sent home notices this week for books overdue more than 10 days. Thanks in advance for your help. This month we are reading nonfiction books in the library. In Pre K we are reading about Veterans Day and Fire Safety Month. In Kindergarten we are reading about the First Americans and creating wampum bracelets.. In 1st grade students are sailing their Mayflowers across the Atlantic Ocean. In 2nd grade we are reading both fiction and nonfiction about tornados. Next week in Maker Space we will create our own tornados. Third graders built Wayside School. They had SO much fun.. Fourth graders are reading graphic novels this month. We will also be using the reading strategy of recalling details. Finally, in fifth grade we will look at the cause of World War I in conjunction with Veterans Day. Reading is so much FUN! When your child reads fiction or nonfiction for pleasure, they learn so much!!!
