November Lunch Registration
Registration for November Lunches are now open until October 15th
To Register:
1. After logging into Family Portal, click Student Information.
2. Click Lunch. The Lunch calendar displays.
3. Click Create Web Order to create a lunch order for the student. The Lunch Order Form displays, listing each student in the family.
4. Click the student name for which you wish to place an order. The Lunch Order Form expands listing each day that an order may be placed. A blank day denotes a school holiday or 1/2 day.
5. Click the date to place an order. The Lunch Item list expands.
6. Type quantity for the student in the Quantity column. The Total column displays the cost.
7. Repeat for all dates and all students. The Grand Total is listed at the bottom.
8. Click Submit Order. The charges will now display for the student on their Family Portal portal to be paid on the Financial screen. Lunch will not be provided unless paid in full for the month.
Interim Reports
We know that our students can achieve the greatest degree of success when we all work together. With this in mind, at the midpoint of the trimester our teachers share interim reports with parents if students have a 79% or lower in any academic course. Our teachers also often use interim reports as a chance to reach out and celebrate students’ achievement in a specific area.
Interim reports are transmitted electronically by the classroom teacher and used as needed; no need to worry if you do not receive one. If you have questions about your child’s progress, we always encourage you to reach out directly to your child’s teacher.
Citizen of the Month / Virtue of the Month
Commitment was our Virtue of the Month for August and September, and we are pleased to highlight the students below who have been selected by their teachers for exemplifying a commitment to the Hancock Way and academic excellence. Congratulations to Saiyen Patel (Prekindergarten), Bowen Albright (Kindergarten), Burke Greco (1st grade), John Perkins (2nd grade), Lucy Mac Hasselle (3rd grade), Sofia Kenney (4th grade), and Bellamy Bouchillon (5th grade).
Carpool Safety
Please make sure to submit any carpool changes through our electronic form in your Parent Portal. If you do not submit the change, our teachers will stop the line to ask for documentation, and this slows down the pick up process for everyone.
Additionally, for the safety of our teachers and safety patrol students, please leave pets at home when coming through the carpool line.
Students in Action
This week volunteers from our Parents Association visited us for Popsicles on the Playground. We continued to practice for our upcoming Grandparents and Special Friends Day program, and we enjoyed the beautiful weather.
