August 23rd - August 27th
Welcome Back!
This week we were thrilled to welcome our students, all 465 of them between prekindergarten and 8th grade! It has been a busy (but fun!) week that began with Sunday’s Open House, included an orientation event for the sixth grade on Monday, the first day of school on Tuesday, our BooHoo breakfast, a special 8th grade celebration, and multiple football and volleyball basketball practices, just to name a few events. We also saw our first students eat lunch in Hancock Hall and our first morning news broadcast. Hancock is always a happy place, and this week has felt extra celebratory in many ways as our community is happy to be reunited. I am sure that there will be challenges in the weeks to come, but know that the wellbeing of your children is always our priority. I am grateful that you entrust us with their education, and I look forward to working with you in the weeks ahead!
