The last few weeks of the school year are always busy, and keeping students focused on academic work can be a challenge. With just two weeks of school left, we are continuing to maximize the value of every educational opportunity on campus. Many grade levels have a few last assessments, rehearsals for end of the year programs, final projects, and more. Sticking with a predictable home routine - as much as possible - will help your child manage the hectic days. Summer is on the horizon, but we aren’t quite there yet!
After School Programs & Sports Reminder
Students that are not picked up at carpool dismissal will immediately be sent to our Extended Day Program. Teachers cannot “hold” students in their classroom. If you are aware that your child will be staying after school for a program or for a sports activity, please register them for Extended using the Daily Carpool Changes form. There is a $20 charge for reservations. If a student comes to Extended without a reservation (or prior enrollment in the monthly program) there is a $50 drop-in charge.

Please save the times and dates listed below if you have children that will be involved in these special events.
Due to our COVID-19 protocol, in person access to these events will be limited to just a few members of each student’s family. We will also offer an option to view a video recording of the program for extended family members and friends who cannot attend in person.
Prekindergarten End of the Year Program - Thursday, May 27th at 9:00 AM
Kindergarten Moving Up Ceremony - Thursday, May 27th at 10:30 AM
Fifth Grade Moving Up Ceremony - Friday, May 28th at 9:00 AM
***Each of these programs will last no longer than one hour. Students involved in the program will be dismissed FOR THE YEAR the conclusion of their program. ***

Did You Know…
This week our fourth and fifth grade students experienced their first off campus field trips in over a year! Through careful planning, we were able to partner with the Burton 4H Center on Tybee Island to allow our students to have a fun and educational experience exploring the marsh, dissecting squid, and learning about reptiles.
