So Much to Celebrate!
At this time we are planning to have in person end of the year programs/ moving up ceremonies for our students celebrating the conclusion of prekindergarten, kindergarten, and fifth grade. Please save the times and dates listed below if you have children that will be involved in these special events.
Due to our COVID-19 protocol, in person access to these events will be limited to just a few members of each student’s family. We will also offer an option to attend virtually via video conferencing for extended family members and friends who cannot attend in person.
Prekindergarten End of the Year Program - Thursday, May 27th at 9:00 AM
Kindergarten Moving Up Ceremony - Thursday, May 27th at 10:30 AM
Fifth Grade Moving Up Ceremony - Friday, May 28th at 9:00 AM
Other upcoming events to add to your calendars --
Monday, May 3rd - Friday, May 7th - FIELD WEEK (because one day just isn’t enough this year). More details to follow, but remember that Friday, May 7th is a noon dismissal day for the whole school.
Monday, May 3rd - Friday, May 7th - Teacher and Nurse Appreciation Week!
Friday, May 14th - Virtual One Act Performance
Monday, May 17th - Virtual Music Program, grades 1-4
Sunday, May 23rd - Drop In Retirement Celebration for Patty Wolbert
Thursday, May 27th - 8th grade graduation; prekindergarten and kindergarten end of the year programs/moving up ceremonies; last day of school for prekindergarten, kindergarten, and middle school
Friday, May 28th - fifth grade moving up ceremony; last day of school for grades 1-5
Some highlights of the spring are usually our class trips for grades 2-5. Guidelines from the CDC and our own HEAC committee have not changed regarding out of town and overnight field trips, so like last spring, these trips will not be able to take place. We will continue to make the most of each day that we have together on campus as we prioritize the health of our students and faculty.
Did You Know…
FOUR of our middle school students competed in the state science fair competition this week! One student, Jamison Beck, earned special recognition and a fourth honors ribbon for her project.
