COVID - 19

This week COVID-19 directly impacted our campus as we sent home one class to quarantine. We followed our protocol of first sharing information with those directly impacted, followed by communicating with our community as a whole. I understand the natural curiosity sparked by these events, and members of our community undoubtedly have legitimate interests in information about the status and impact of the pandemic. At the same time, individual students, faculty, and staff have strong interests in the privacy of their own health information, and we are legally obligated to keep that information confidential. Our goal is to share relevant information with our community while respecting individual privacy and preventing confusion. I believe that the new dashboard created by the Health and Education Advisory Committee will be an effective tool for this moving forward, and I know our community will continue to be supportive of each other throughout the new challenges presented by these unique times.

The Show Must Go On

While our spring musical didn’t unfold on campus as we had originally planned, our young stars have been busy filming their parts of the performance for a digital version of Mulan that we will share with our community in the future.
