January 27th - January 31st

Admissions season is in full swing and we have been excited to welcome many potential new students to our campus this week for admissions assessments.  Re Enrollment contracts will go out next Friday, January 31st and will be due back on Friday, February 14th.  I strongly encourage families to return contracts by this deadline as we have strong pools of applicants for many grade levels.

Middle School Admissions Preview for Rising 6th Graders
Parents of current fifth grade students, please plan to attend our middle school admissions preview on Tuesday, February 4th at 9:15am in Hancock Hall.  This event is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about our middle school, meet the faculty, and ask questions.  Please RSVP to Cindy Drew. (cdrew@hancockdayschool.org)

Cold and Flu Season
Thank you all for your help keeping children healthy by adhering to our attendance policy for sick children.  As a reminder, we require children to be free of vomiting, diarrhea, and fever (without the use of fever-reducing medications) for 24 hours before returning to school. If your child is sick, please also be sure to notify our school nurse by emailing nurse@hancockdayschool.org.
We will continue our efforts to keep everyone healthy by teaching the proper techniques for handwashing and emphasizing good hygiene.  Click HERE for great video reminder about how to wash your hands.
